Power Gaming skips DH Winter
Power Gaming have been forced to skip DreamHack Winter, after learning that their member Niko "naSu" Kovanen is infect with the H1N1 virus.Contacted by Managing Director Ben Woodward, HLTV.org was early Tuesday informed that Power Gaming will not be attending DreamHack Winter, after being familiar with the condition of Niko "naSu" Kovanen.
"Over the past 5 days we've wondered where naSu has been, as the public may of noticed we've used a stand-in in our last 2 Extreme Masters games in place of him. He came online last night to inform us he's been ill with the H1N1 virus that's seen him stuck in bed with a 40c temperature; he’s currently on medication and recovering", Woodward told HLTV.org
As a result of Kovanen's infection, Power Gaming will not be attending DreamHack Winter.

Kovanen infected with H1N1 virus
The condition of Kovanen might also force Power Gaming to skip World Esports Masters next month.
"In light of this news we'll unfortunately be skipping Dreamhack winter, our participation at next month's WEM tournament hangs in the balance, we may need to take a stand-in to the event, this will be decided over the coming days. Niko is making a good recovery but is far from fit enough to travel", he added.
Power Gaming was yesterday drawn into group with Spirit of Amiga and 2easy4 and a BYOC-qualifying team, what will happen to the empty spot Power Gaming left behind them, will be determined later Tuesday.
It is not the first time the H1N1 virus affects pro-gamers. The Norwegian team known as Vitriolic at the time, was after their appearance at GameGune this summer, infected with the virus. Prior to WCG 2009, UMX-Gaming had to cancel their attendance, due to symtoms of H1N1.
